Job Description

    This Job Description is for a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Control and Safety Valves.The role requires a mechanical engineer with minimum 3 years of experience in engineering design or analysis, including at least 2 years specifically in control valve or safety valve design. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing valve components, selecting suitable materials, and ensuring the design meets application requirements and international standards such as ASME B16.34 and PED.The engineer should have knowledge of valve instrumentation and actuators, understand Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) requirements, and be capable of working with 3D design tools like SolidWorks or ANSYS. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, and welding is expected to ensure designs are practical for production.Good communication skills and teamwork are important, and experience or knowledge of nuclear valves is considered an added advantage.
