Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Design innovative plantation programs around various themes: rural livelihood, bio-diversity, zodiac/nakshatra, NTFPs etc.
  • Assist operations team in plant species selection process (scope would cover PAN India)
  • Lead the coordination of events and activities across multiple states, which could include plantation programs and events, environmental workshops/trainings
  • Provide technical support to various Carbon sequestration programs executed by the organization
  • Provide training to farmer beneficiaries on agroforestry. Help them in diagnosis of common diseases and better harvesting methods
  • Build and manage partnerships with the existing corporate sponsors
  • Engage in outreach, education, information-gathering, and making connections with new corporate sponsors
  • Conduct, design and share research on best/current practices, services, programs around environmental conservation
  • Work closely with leadership and other departments to support projects, including fundraising, events, communication, individual engagement efforts, volunteerism, and grant applications and reporting
  • Lead and manage urban kitchen gardening and sustainable living program. Deliver workshops around this concept to corporate employees and urban dwellers
