Job Description

  1. Prepare, verify, and process invoices for sales or services rendered Enter data on invoices.
  1. ensure proper coding on documents Collect on accounts by sending invoice reminders and communication with customers via phone or email, Prepare cash and check payments for bank; totalling and recording the deposit amounts, cross check the out deposit slips and bundling the funds and slips; making deposits at the bank
  1. Prepare customer statements, bills and invoices, and reconcile receipts to the general ledger
  1. Calculate and post receipts to appropriate general ledger accounts and verify details of transactions, such as funds received and total account balances (Outstanding Statement weekly)
  1. Prepare monthly receivable statements (for monthly review meeting) Compile and sort documents, prepare and post invoices and credit and debit memos
  1. Make copies of all checks, complete deposit slips and make bank deposits Accurate accounting of all customer deduction (like TDS, WCT, SD, Labour welfare tax and other deduction ) preparation of MIS report and target the collection
  1. Work with collections personnel to verify status of delinquent accounts and solicit payments on overdue accounts.
  1. Provide backup support to other groups in the accounting department, type periodic reports and perform other general administrative duties Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
