Job Description

    An Admission Manager in a university directs the recruitment, evaluation, and enrollment of students. They bridge the gap between prospective students and the institution, overseeing the application lifecycle to meet institutional intake targets, ensure policy compliance, and manage the admissions team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesStrategic Enrollment Management
    • Analyze admission trends, demographics, and conversion rates to make strategic adjustments.
    • Manage and optimize the departmental budget and resource allocation.
    Application Processing & Evaluation
    • Oversee the complete applicant journey from the initial inquiry to final enrollment.
    • Finalize admission decisions (approvals, rejections, and waitlists) and ensure timely communication with applicants
    Team Leadership & Operations
    • Set performance metrics (KPIs) for the admissions team based on financial and enrollment goals.
    • Maintain and upgrade the Student Information Systems (SIS) and CRM databases to accurately track the prospective student pipeline.
    Outreach & Student Recruitment
    • Collaborate with the marketing department to design promotional materials and campaigns
    Compliance & Interdepartmental Coordination
    • Ensure all admissions practices comply with university policies and external educational or governmental regulatory bodies.
    • Collaborate closely with the Registrars office, Financial Aid, and academic faculties to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
