Job Description

    JOB PURPOSETo support the head of the department in marketing the airport in an effort to increase passenger traffic by bringing in more airlines and enhancing connectivity through hub operations and point to point trafficTo support the Head of the department in positioning and promoting IGI Airport to bring in more airlines and enhancing connectivity by increasing number of new flights, number of frequencies, new destinations and new airlines and increasing passenger traffic.ORGANISATION CHARTKey AccountabilitiesTo develop an annual commercial action plan to achieve the relevant AOP, both revenue as well as expenditure, targets, strategic objectives and initiativesNetwork Development- identify unserved / underserved routes that require more frequencies/ aircraft upgradation, and identify potential Airlines/airports for developing airport network.Stakeholder Management - To develop and nurture business relationship with key personnel of airlines, airport, Governmental. tourism and regulatory authorities. To support internal and external stakeholders and resolve various commercial and operational issues.Team Development To develop team in respect of skill set, trade knowledge etcSpecial Projects Incentive program / regulatory bodies interactions/ MIS for management, CEO Review, GCM Review.Implement Marketing/ Promotion Program -External event management and Managing expectations of airlines by providing marketing support and promote new flights and initiatives , Conducting market research related to catchment area, passengers to achieve departmental goals, promoting IGI Airport as a preferred gateway in the identified catchment area through B2B and B2C channels.Strategic Initiatives Functional : Long Haul Flights, Red Eye Flights, Hub Development,Cross Functional Increase Non Regulated RevenueEXTERNAL INTERACTIONSRoute / Network planners of airlines and airportsAirline Marketing and Sales Team,Station Managers of AirlinesCISF, BCAS, AAITravel Agents, Tour Operators & Tourism Bodies, GSA of various international Airlines, UBM Aviation,FIA, PHD Chambers, CAPA, IATA, ICAO, MOCA, ACIINTERNAL INTERACTIONSCEO/ DCEO/ CCO Aero and Non Aero office, Non Aero department, Land & Space department, Cargo, Revenue management, Finance department.DIAL Terminal Operations, Airside Operations, P & E Team.
