Job Description

Cybersecurity startup based in Delhi is looking for Android Developer (Kotlin).This engagement is for a project. If performance of the candidate is good and candidate also likes working with us, we can discuss about the full time role.

  • You will build an app that will change the cybersecurity landscape of India
  • You will work closely with the co-founders to realize their vision of the app
  • You will build a performance app that works well on major Android devices
  • We are paranoid about performance - you will investigate performance/scalability bottlenecks and (re)write code with performance optimization in mind
  • Identify libraries and technologies that solve our problems and/or are worth experimentation
Responsibilities:
  • Have 4-8 years of experience in Android development; Kotlin experience MUST
  • Have published one or more Android apps in the play store
  • Have experience with the entire mobile lifecycle: application development (application structure, device and operating system APIs), testing (debugging, performance, security) and deployment.
  • Have sound understanding of Android Architecture and SDK, Android Studio and Debugger
  • Expert in core OOP concepts with sound CS fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)
  • Expert in basic android components: Activity, Services, Intent, Broadcast Receiver, Content Providers, Accessibility Service, Permissions etc.
  • Expert in advanced Android UI Skills (Fragments, Custom view components) and design patterns (MVC, MVVM etc.)
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs such as Firebase, Google Play Billing, AWS
  • Must have worked on Offline Sync, Caching, Local Storage, Realm/Room/SQLLite databases
  • Have knowledge of REST paradigm, service-oriented architecture and distributed systems
  • Prior experience with cybersecurity company or smartphone manufacturer will be an additional plus
