Job Description

    Sales o To implement various sales strategies in area of operation for achieving the sales target as per plan.o To prepare and follow permanent journey plan (PJP) based on the sales area covered and proposednew coverage area. Based on the PJP, preparation of beat plan to cover the retail outlets.o To take orders from the retailer/wholesalers.o Ensure timely stock delivery to the market by co-coordinating with distributor.o Responsible for achieving daily / weekly / monthly / targets.o Responsible for communicating and carrying out trade promotional activities.o To coordinate with channel executive and merchandisers for executing Promotional and marketingInitiatives in sales area.Adding to this, ascertaining the marketing needs of the retailer and coordinating with marketing personnelfor designing and executing the need based promotional activities.Maintaining and increasing sales of companys productsIncreasing business opportunities through various routes to marketKey Account Management o To understand and implement strategies at ground/operational level in terms of trade promotions andsales related queries, by identifying key retailers based on their categories in his territory.o To identify key retailers in his sales territory that accounts for the maximum sales in the assigned zone.Responsible for understanding and gathering the requirements that shall help in penetrating competitorsmarket.Channel Management o To coordinate with distributor/ Retailers for smooth functioning of order management. Additionally,resolve any discrepancies with retailer/distributor.MIS/Commercialo To prepare daily sales report, weekly sales report, stock statement, collection statement, retailpromotion expenditure statement.o To gather competitor information Sales (Volume, Value) data product category wise through distributorsand from retailers (retail Audit) & Marketing activitiesPeople Management o To coordinate with other sales executives in the sales zone and share market information and goodsales practices for smooth execution of sales function.o To attend technical and soft skill training programs conducted by training managers in respective saleszone.o To keep one-self updated with the regulatory framework of the industry.o To identify high potential and new retail outlets for distribution in the territory. The aim of the salesexecutive should be not only to increase the sales revenue in the existing sales zone but to increase thecoverage area
