Job Description

    A registered society running 9 schools in Delhi/NCR, inviting profile of qualified Chartered Accountant for the post of: Assistant Director, Finance & Internal AuditQualification & Experience:
    • CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
    • Should have atleast 10 years of professional experience in the field of auditing and accounting, preparing short and long term financial planning.
    • To have strong communication, presentation skills and networking capabilities.
    • Good leadership qualities.
    • Should have proven experience in strategic planning.
    • Good knowledge of direct, indirect tax, GST, Income Tax laws and Accounting/Financial rules/policies.
    • Knowledge of States Education statutes is desirable.
    • Should be Computer Savvy.
    Age : Around 40 years (relaxation in age will be on merit basis)Salary : Befitting to the qualification and experience.JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • To assist in handling finance and accounts of Trust and guiding all schools of Salwan Education Trust (S.E.T.) in financial management.
    • To be responsible in advising schools to manage their budgets and also on curtailing expenditure etc.
    • To develop, propose, implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures, especially related to Directorate of Education (DoE).
    • To take up all matters related to Internal Audit and Finance Systems of all schools running under the aegis of Salwan Education Trust.
    • To periodically review of all schools accounts.
    • To coordinate with Auditors of all Salwan Schools and scrutinize the Internal Audit Plan.
    • To finalise the Balance Sheet of Schools and Trust.
    • To finalise and ensure compliance of rules and filing of Income Tax Return, GST, Gratuity Fund etc. of Salwan Education Trust in coordination with Auditors and Tax Consultant.
    • To assist in executing financial investments of Salwan Education Trust as per rules and financial prudence.
    • Contract vetting of vendors (at S.E.T. level).
    • To assist in all other pertinent matters relating to finance, internal audit and accounting for better & prudent financial management.
    • Any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by Honble Chairman, Salwan Education Trust.
