Job Description

Job Family DescriptorThis group of positions is responsible for the delivery and administration of a range of training and development programs to meet the needs of internal staff. Engage with the key stakeholders to conduct skills analysis, training need analysis and prioritize training. Plan annual initiatives and training programs in discussion with HR leadership and Senior management. Prepare training budget requirements and share with Senior leadership along with HR; Track budget spend versus plan and take corrective actions if required. Conduct discussions with BUs to understand training requirements (mandatory trainings, technical, domain, behavioral training); Identify and prioritize organization level training needs and programs in line with organizations strategy and vision. Select appropriate delivery channels, to effectively transfer skills to targeted audience. Ensure that content and context of all materials remains current and relevant for business needs. Support HR team with wider learning activities like coaching, mentoring and leadership development programs. Advise business to identify training needs identified in performance appraisals, CDP/CAP, prepare training calendar and prioritize focus areas; Work with subject matter experts on designing training content and delivery. Plan roll out of programs including timelines, target audience and location; Assess feasibility of hiring external trainers; Conduct training programs for various audience groups, as and when required. Discuss with technical domain heads to seek nomination for technical trainers and curriculum champions; Conduct TTT for nominated technical trainers. Monitor adherence to training calendar and take corrective actions if required. Assess training effectiveness, review feedback of participants and managers on training content and application of learning to work to modify training programs.Level DescriptorDesign, develop and deliver training programs that address training needs on an ongoing basis, by engaging with internal and external stakeholders across the companys geographies. Get detailed understanding of training requirements and develop/modify content accordingly and prioritise traing programs. Drive TTT for nominated technical trainers. Assess training effectiveness based on identified parameters. Coach and mentor team members as required and ensure resolution of any people issues. May lead important projects that require providing experienced project team members with instruction, guidance and advice in all aspects of the project to ensure delivery of quality outcomes. May be an individual contributor or may lead/mentor small team. Tactical role which provides a marked contribution to business strategy that requires ability to identify problems, analyse complex issues and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques. Focus is on implementation and control rather than policy and strategy development.
