Job Description

    Domain ArchitectThe Domain Architect is a primary sales function inside Consulting Services, with a partial Delivery engagement. The sales function has the goal of helping the Territory or Engagement Manager during the sales engagements, promoting technical/architectural conversations, in order to build the Services scope that fills the gap Customer has in order to adopt our products. From the Delivery perspective, the DA is responsible for acting in strategic projects, ensuring that the project is architecturally in compliance with the plan defined during the sales cycle. What you will do
    • Stay close to the sales team, and understand the customers gaps when adopting our technologies;
    • Lead the definition and presentation of proposals that: address the customer gaps, and compromise with the health of services business;
    • Act as an Architect Leader in strategic projects in order to: guide the delivery from the architecture perspective; Generate the revenue expected for the Role; and keep in touch with the technical subjects.
    • Ability to understand customer gaps, and converge to our services portfolio and robust project plan;
    • Ability to design a robust proposal, scoping a big picture, tasks and assumptions;
    • Have a generalist approach for our portfolio, leading (technically) the pre sales engagements, with the skills to orchestrate specialists to run deeply analysis;
    • Ability to execute the architectural part of a delivery project;
    • Ability to self organize the agenda, with a good understanding of prioritization;
    • Ability to lead technical conversations, facilitating meetings with customer and internally;
    • Ability to think critically and create local solutions (portfolio) and standards;
    • Have a continuous learning approach;
    • Work close with the sales team, defining the strategy for selling Consulting Engagements;
    • Attend Customer meetings in order to identify customers gaps/needs;
    • Define the scope and Level of Effort (LoE) for consulting proposals;
    • Build and present the SoW and Proposals to the Customer;
    • Engage with TSM in order to generate the pricing for the engagements;
    • Provide feelings around opportunities forecast to the TSM;
    • Help the TSM in order to elaborate the contracts (OF, Appendix 3, etc);
    • Deliver the project, as a Domain Architect, in specifics/strategics engagements;
    • Keep in touch with technical enablements on Red Hat products and solutions.
    What you will bring
    • Architecture background around Red Hat solutions or similar;
    • 5+ years of experience as delivery consultant/architect;
    • 2+ years of experience helping scope definition and Level of Effort;
    • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English;
    • Presentation skills and ability to lead technical discussions;
    • Ability to write services proposal from the technical and business perspective;
    • Strong knowledge and participation in Open Source communities.
