Job Description Snapshot Position: Full Stack Web Developer (Python-Django, AngularJs-HTML5) CTC: 9. 6-15 Lac pa ESOPs Location: Noida (Delhi NCR) Building a product nation I believe products bring real value and want to see India become a Product Nation. Not IT Services, not BPO powerhouse, but an export house of scalable technology products. I want the world to use off-the-shelf scalable software products made and handcrafted in India. But it s not going to be easy. We need to change our thinking, ask difficult questions, and come up with insane ideas. For example, I believe that all forms of transportation will become redundant one day, making our lives much more efficient. Our descendants will laugh at the idea that we actually drove our cars everyday to the other part of the town to be able to complete our work. Sounds insane or exciting What is also required is copious amounts of passion and equal amounts of endurance. If your goal in life is work-life balance, money, or a fancy designation, then stop reading. There is no room for mediocrity here. The beginning of a great future To make a Product Nation, the simple first step is a product. And we built our first one. Customers from about 114 countries are using it to connect their customers from offline print media to online content. Scanova is a QR Code Management tool that allows businesses to create, design, manage, and track QR Code-based interactions. Scanova combines image processing and web technology to allow marketers to design their QR Codes in a matter of seconds. On the front end, Scanova is based on AngularJs and HTML5. In addition, Scanova uses complex image processing and machine learning algorithms to ensure that its QR Codes always remain scannable, despite the presence of scanning applications of varying quality and smartphone devices with varying camera quality. And all this is done at an amazingly fast speed. Our backend is powered by Python based Django Web Framework with Apache and mod_wsgi on Amazon EC2 instances. We use MYSQL databases running on Amazon RDS servers. Scanova is our first baby step. But there is a long road ahead. Building the right team To service the long road ahead, I am looking for a team that believes in what we do and is hungry for challenges. We are not looking for employees but hardcore problem-solvers. Specifically, we are looking for a Full-stack Web Developer, who will be required to:Co-conceptualize and build Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products in the offline-to-online (O2O) space. Specifically, you will need to:Discuss possibilities of scalable SaaS products that solves challenges faced by businesses or consumersConceptualize product design and architecture for high performance and scalabilityDevelop the product using new technologies and best practicesEnhance existing product Scanova with new features, performance optimization, and conversion rate optimization tactics. Specifically, this will include:Development and maintenance of back-end infrastructure written in Python - Django deployed on AWSResearch and application of new technologies and best practices to product architecture and designMaintenance and improvement of the user-facing website and web-app, based on inputs from the UI/ UX teamParticipation in regular bug fixing and feature implementations Having the right skills Passion and endurance are a must. But we also expect a few other core competencies:2 years of professional experience developing web applications using modern web frameworks - preferably DjangoUnderstanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, Bootstrap, AngularJS, and CSS3Experience working with Git, MySQL, Ajax, Apache/ Nginx, SSH, Linux, and Grunt/ GulpExperience developing and consuming Restful web APIsHands-on experience developing, releasing, deploying, and maintaining web applications We take care of each other This is not just a team.
