Job Description of Quality Engineer Designation: Assistant Manager Location: Delhi This requirement is for field quality control of the Sofa products procured from various suppliers across India. Responsibility: The responsibilities of the quality engineer include, but not limited to the below mentioned: 1.Critical work will involve supplier development process, which will involve following tasks: a.Final random inspections & product evaluation, against defined quality norms, inspection protocols & defect classifications b.Inline/Midline process control measures c.Implement & execute Quality control processes from raw material to dispatches with adequate audits d.Green channel: Develop Suppliers to self-sustain & ensure Quality requirements are met without any intervention from company by establishing the above steps. e.The person will be responsible for conducting regular audits during above phases, maintaining records of the same & track Vendor quality score. 2.Responsible for end-to-end quality control of products being sourced from suppliers a.Timely in process and final inspection of products and approving the same for shipments b.Responsible for all packaging confirmation, shipping marks, workmanship etc. 3.Work with Suppliers to establish and evaluate adherence to technical specifications. 4.Standardize usage of materials in production and ensure consistency in finish & workmanship. 5.Will be responsible for new product developments and product validation/evaluation. 6.Communicate and implement the actionable at suppliers factory related to product quality. Preferred Candidate: 1.Should have 3 to 4 years of experience, out of which 2 years should be in product inspections or Quality control in furniture hardlines 2.Should have knowledge of manufacturing of upholstered furniture with relevant work experience 3.Work experience on Quality control at Suppliers location or factory will be an added advantage,
