Salary: 6 Lac - 10 Lac1. This challenging role will involve the setup and maintenance of production database environments2. Provision of expert advice to application DBA and development teams amongst other responsibilities3. Experience on SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008, 2012 a plus4. Expert in setting up SQL Server high availability (Cluster, Replication, Mirroring and Log Shipping) feature for 24/7 production environment and troubleshooting5. Provide expertise in SQL database server design and capacity planning for new projects6. Should be able to evaluate/suggest the third party database tools based on need basis7. Proactive involvement in giving suggestion to optimize the current environment and the monitoring8. Good exposure on Installation, Configuration of database Cluster, Replication, Log shipping and Mirroring9. Good knowledge of different clustering solutions (Microsoft and VERITAS).10. Database Bug-fixing, troubleshooting and performance optimization11. Experience on database migrations, up gradation and patching - MUST12. Knowledge/experience on FOGLIGHT, LightSpeed and TSM13. Knowledge/experience with Disaster RecoveryDesired Candidate Profile1. Should be a graduate with specialization in information technology / systems2. Should have overall 2-6 years IT experience3. Should have at least 2 years experience at MS SQL/Oracle database administration4. Any extra professional certifications like MCSE, MCSE+I, MCSD, OCDBA, etc. preferred.5. Should be proficient in .Net, VB, ASP, XML, SQL server,
