Compliance Manager IC 3About the role:CaaStle is hiring a Compliance Manager for our InfoSec Team. This is an opportunity to join a team that has built from the ground-up an Information Security Management System (ISMS) certified to the ISO 27001:2013 standard. We are currently in the process of embracing the requirements of ISO 27001:2022. In addition, our customer footprint requires operational compliance with leading privacy standards such as the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the more recent California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).Our 100% cloud-based infrastructure and pragmatic web 2.0 approach to development delivers a velocity of business that makes implementing information security interesting.As our Compliance Manager, you will partner with DevOps, IT, Product Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and People Teams to ensure compliance with applicable contractual, regulatory, policy and security standards requirements.We are looking for someone who can operate with minimal supervision, a subject matter expert to inspire and partner with peers across the company to enable security and grow the business.What youll do:As our Information Security Compliance Manager you will be responsible for development, implementation and operation of compliance programs and associated infrastructure sufficient to:
1. Maintain our ISMS certification to ISO 27001:2013.
2. Enhance our ISMS to achieve ISO 27001: 2022 certification.
3. Ensure we operate to established standards, policies and procedures.
4. Maintain an inventory of CaaStle s contractual information security obligations and how we comply.
5. Ensure we comply with the information security requirements of applicable privacy regulations.
6. Support ISO standards audits, privacy audits, and company-wide compliance initiatives as needed.
Wed love for you to have:
• Education:
Bachelors degree or higher. Technical degree preferred. Master s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
Ideal: 10+ years relevant experienceMinimum: 5 years out of collegePreferred Attributes:
• Clear communication skills
• Operations mindset
• Operating in a compliance oriented environment
• Operations Management experience / mindset
• Experience performing audits/compliance assessments
• Discretion in handling confidential information
• Experience operating in SaaS-based IT environments.
• Experience with Google Workplace, Atlassian Jira, and Atlassian Confluence is a plus.
