Job Description

    Job OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Insurance Back Office Executive with specialized knowledge in generating and managing quotes for Fire, Marine, Burglary, and other types of insurance policies. This position requires proficiency in insurance operations, policy documentation, quote generation, and client relationship management to ensure seamless processing of requests and high-quality service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesQuote Generation:
    • Create, process, and finalize insurance quotes for various types of coverage, including but not limited to:
    1. Fire Insurance : Commercial, residential, and industrial property coverage.
    2. Marine Insurance : Marine cargo, hull insurance, and freight insurance.
    3. Burglary & Theft Insurance : Coverage for burglary, theft, and property damage.
    4. Other specialized insurance policies (e.g., liability, motor, health).
    • Work closely with underwriters, brokers, and other departments to ensure that quotes are accurate, competitive, and comply with company policies.
    Documentation:
    • Ensure that all policy-related documentation is accurately prepared, reviewed, and maintained.
    • Assist clients with policy queries and ensure correct data entry and document filing.
    Client Interaction:
    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding quotes, coverage details, premiums, terms, and conditions.
    • Coordinate with clients and agents to clarify details about policies and coverage.
    Policy Renewals & Modifications :
    • Assist in generating quotes for policy renewals and modifications based on client requirements.Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional insurance products.
    Risk Assessment:
    • Assist in reviewing the risk profile of clients, ensuring that quotes are tailored to the clients needs while adhering to underwriting guidelines.
    • Provide suggestions to clients for adjusting coverage or making changes to reduce risk and optimize insurance coverage.
    Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure all insurance processes comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
    • Prepare regular reports on quote generation, policy conversion, and other key performance metrics.
    Skills & QualificationsExperience:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance back-office operations, with a focus on generating quotes for Fire, Marine, Burglary, and other policies.
    • Familiarity with insurance software and systems is highly desirable.
    Knowledge :
    • Strong understanding of Fire, Marine, Burglary, and general property insurance products.
    • Familiarity with underwriting processes, policy terms, and coverage options for various types of insurance.
    • In-depth knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance standards.
    Technical Skills :
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to quickly learn and navigate insurance-specific software and platforms.
    Communication :
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
    • Ability to explain complex insurance terms and products in a clear, concise manner.
    Attention to Detail :
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when generating quotes and processing policies.
    Problem Solving :
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client issues, resolve discrepancies, and provide solutions.
