Job Description

  • To work with a single consultant by turn for a period of six months.
  • To attend to urological emergencies.
  • To assess the patient for the primary disease and do the necessary investigation.
  • To take round and see pre-operative patients.
  • To perform the cases themselves under consultant supervision or assist the consultant.
  • To monitor daily progress of postoperative patients.
  • To see all referral cases and brief the consultant regarding the same.
  • To do night along with the consultant on coverage.
  • To attend all academic activities of the unit.
  • To require to present and discuss a topic of interest and participate in journal club and x-ray presentation.
  • To present a paper at the regional urological meet and at the national level.
  • To participate and contribute to the departmental quality initiatives.
  • To be aware of departments performance and objectives.
  • To carry out data collection/support in data collection.
  • To adhere the safety norms of the hospital and follow both patient and staff safety rules.
  • To take active part in transplant programme.
