• Contribute to completion of projects, manage own time to meet agreed targets, develop plans for short-term work activities on own projects.
• Provide engineering support to develop scope of work, project execution plans, and associated engineering studies for equipment and component installation, modification etc.
• Provide necessary operational support as needed.
• Review preventive and corrective work order activities, and provide equipment maintenance history review.
• Manage technical writing and document review.
• Ensure calibration compliance with (Current) Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP) contemporary technologies and best aseptic practices.
• Participate in equipment/system-based Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations and update equipment reliability plans.
• Partner with Production and Quality Team Leads on troubleshooting and scheduling.
• Promote safety within the workplace by following site safety procedures and perform proactive safety assessments, foster a safe work culture.
• Actively participate in site & corporate initiatives such as Communities of Practice, Limited Duration Teams.
• Facilitate and participate in the investigation teams created to determine root cause of exemption reports, QARs and laboratory investigation reports. Serve as a liaison between quality, Operations and regulatory/Compliance to facilitate timely closure of investigations.

QualificationsMust-Have

• 6-8 yrs of experience for Diploma engineers (4-6 yrs for Graduate engineers) in maintenance function of pharmaceuticals industry / Trainee
• Maintenance of Cooling chambers, stability chambers & Incubators
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance
• Coordinate with Production to undertake Periodic Performance Verification (PRQs)
• Attend to break downs, troubleshoot and rectify basic issues in shortest possible time
• Study and review standby facilities for critical sub-assemblies and addition of capital equipment on long term basis for smooth operation.
• Initiating purchase requisitions in Procurement System
• Prepare specifications for Centralized HVAC System Air Handling units, Laminar flow stations, BMS & EMS.
• Support selection and procurement of Centralized HVAC System, Air Handling units, Laminar flow stations & Clean rooms
• Prepare and ensure availability of working drawings for any activity performed at site
• Review Equipment installation drawings and ensure the installation of the equipment as per the same
• Review drawings issued by vendor
• knowledge on Operation and Monitoring of BMS, EMS & TMS
• Knowledge of Installation, Operation and Maintenance of Centralized HVAC System Air Handling units, Laminar flow stations, Building Automation system & Clean rooms
• Conversant with Validation documents and schedule: FAT / SAT /DQ / IQ / OQ / PQ / PRQ
• Detailed knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules, SOPs and various audit procedures
• Good Technical writing skills.
• Excellent Interpersonal, written and communication skills
• Effective coordination between departments
