Good understanding of Network Protocol like TCP, UDP, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP, VRF, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and MPLS. Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, SDWAN, DNS and DHCP stakeholders. Configuring routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and basic security. Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting and should have knowledge of SPAN and RSPAN. Arranging scheduled upgrades. Investigating faults in the network. Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases Reporting network status to key Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks Should have knowledge on how to prepare project documentation.
