Primary Project Management Responsibilities: 1. Serves as project manager; manages multiple teams on a single deployment effort.2. Develops plans for work that are used to capture and report actuals, estimates and forecast dates. Ensures plans accepted and accurate and that the milestones and dependencies are managed.3. Anticipates delays and cost overruns through milestone, issue and risk management.4. Avoids surprises. Completes a standard engagement status report at least every two weeks. Uses standard processes and tools for work planning, financial management, portfolio reporting, and issue, risk and change management.5. Governs contract-stipulated accountabilities for both Avanade and Customer.6. Drives standardisation, quality and productivity improvement through industrialisation and quality practices and standards.7. Develops realistic work estimates, financial budgets and timelines. Monitors performance to ensure that financials and staffing for the project are on schedule.8. Creates a participative work environment, balancing the development needs of team members with the requirements of the project9. Sets clear expectations for project team and provides regular formal feedback.Primary Pre-Sales Responsibilities: 1. As part of their role in shaping, building and selling solutions, the Project Manager shares responsibility with Sales function for ongoing relationship-building and for generating follow-on opportunities.2. Assists in driving business development initiatives by ensuring deliverability of proposed solutions.3. Develop strong relationships with partners and customers.4. Works with the Marketing functions to develop credentials. Qualifications Skills/Knowledge/Experience:5. More than 3 years of IT Project Management experience6. Degree holder7. Experience working as part of a consulting organization delivering projects / programs of work into Enterprise or Government customers8. IT background - preferably with a balance between infrastructure and software development projects. Microsoft exposure highly desirable.9. Demonstrated customer delivery track record of success.10. Experience in proposal development, project estimation, project delivery and exposure to application management and support11. Broad experience in running multiple simultaneous projects of varying sizes and complexities Strong commercial awareness12. Strong customer relationship and consulting skills13. PMP and/or Prince2 certification desirable14. Willingness to travel if required,
