Job Description

The SEO Writer will work closely with the Digital marketing team, to craft concise, precisely optimized content for search daily. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of digital writing experience, feel extremely comfortable using analytics to help guide content creation, and have a passion for SEO. Excellent writing skills as must, as well as an affinity for everything Real Simple (from orginaztion and cleaning to cooking and beauty). They will be skilled at crafting SEO content initiatives and collaborating with others to meet (and exceed) traffic goals.Tasks include:

  • Writes and optimizes content for websites with the goal of increasing search traffic while maintaining voice for the brand.
  • Works closely with our SEO growth lead to create content for specific business-critical keywords and keyword phrases
  • Optimizes print content for SEO/web
  • Pitches daily news iniativies that help support Google news, specifically in the areas were trying to rank for (ie. Christmas cookie news at the time were optimizing and promoting evergreen cookie content)
