Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTIONTITLE: Application and Service EnigineerPOSITION SUMMARY:This position is responsible for providing onsite service and support to customers. Acts as mobile field service engineer on assigned open tickets to resolve customer affecting technical issues in a timely fashion in order to maintain maximum customer satisfaction. This relates to all applications and other trouble shooting issues.This position serves as a technical service resource assisting both end users and less experienced support analysts in effectively identifying issues and using effective troubleshooting techniques to resolve end user technical issues.Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site installation, validation and commissioning of instruments.
  • Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs.
  • Provide high level technical support to external customers at their location.
  • Provide on-site training to the customers if required.
  • Collect AMC(Annual Maintenance Contract) order from customer, whose machine is out of warranty.
  • Participate in training programs provided by the company.
  • Selling Preventive maintenance kits to the end users.
  • Interface with cross functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and marketing/sales.
  • Develop Service technical documentation.
  • CRM reporting to ensure that the job assigned is finished on time
  • Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits, triage with field applications scientists as appropriate
  • Timely complete and submit all required paperwork
  • Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions
  • Misc. other duties commensurate with the capabilities of a Field Service Engineer.
Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent technical qualifications in electrical/ mechanical engineering or polytechnic diploma engineering in electrical or mechanical field.
  • Experience in service and maintenance of high-end Life Sciences or medical capital equipment. Experience with semi-automated Biochemistry analyzers and hematology analyzers is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel
  • Working knowledge and ability to test and troubleshoot
Travel: Approximately 80% to 90%, primarily Delhi, Punjab, Haryana- in case of Delhi HQTravel: Approximately 90% to 95%, primarily Allahabad, Varanasi, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Kanpur- In case of Allahabad HQNote: On The basis of your performance, company may consider giving you extensive technical trainings on products. These trainings could be Inhouse trainings or company may send you to attend training programs organized by Principle company. This requires you to sign a Bond with the Spectrum Medical Industries (p) ltd to ensure the privacy policies and other things.We are looking for stable candidates(2-3 years), because company has to give training on machines which is a costly and time taking affair for us.Salary package would be 1.8 lakh to 3 lakh per annum, this would be apart from T.A/D.A expenses.Candidate from IVD( Invitro Diagnostic Industry) will be preferred, work experience should be at least 2 years.Headquarters for current job position will be Delhi and AllahabadContact Ajay at J J INDIA, B-108, 2nd Floor, Lajpat Nagar, Part-1, Near Metro Pillar no.3, New Delhi-110024.
