Job Description

  • Responsible for managing and leading a team of engineers working on LAM product software development
  • Evaluates the project work scope, plans, tracks and ensures project delivery is on time with high quality from the team
  • Monitors, coordinates and supervises daily activities of employees in the team.
  • Converts organization objectives into individual goals and drives the team to achieve them
  • Responsible for hiring, training and retaining key talent
  • Responsible for strategic planning and execution for the team
  • Plans and coordinates with cross functional teams within Lam India and other regions to set right priorities for projects and tasks
  • Actively participates in technical reviews of SW design and development work
  • Participates in customer issues and escalations to provide quick workarounds and long-term fixes
  • Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of LAM standards compliant software
  • Responsible for maintenance of install base by analysing, debugging and fixing customer issues
Minimum Qualifications10+ Years Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering (Preferably CS, E&C)
  • Should have experience in managing and leading a team of a minimum of 8 engineers (Goal setting, performance reviews)
  • Hands on experience in project planning tool (MPP), prioritization and conflict resolution
  • Should have worked in planning, executing and tracking of projects in equipment/machine control software development
  • Should have worked on internal and customer issues and escalations
  • Hands on experience of developing equipment/machine control software using object-oriented program
  • Willingness to work in Smalltalk programming language
  • Strong understanding and experience in OOPS concepts ,analytical, logical, problem solving, trouble shooting skills
  • Hands on experience in complete project development life cycle
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and presentation skills
Preferred Qualification
  • Project planning using MPP
  • Experience in working on embedded systems
  • Experience in programming in C/C++/Python
  • Hands on experience in software source control and bug tracking tools
  • Knowledge on EtherCat based device communications
  • Hands on experience in RTOS
  • Experience in the semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry
  • Understanding of distributed systems
  • Knowledge of equipment control framework like ControlWORKS
  • Good communication skills
