Job Description

Urgent opening for Store Manager Profile in food manufacturing industry.Designation : Manager StoresDepartment : Manufaturing & OperationsReporting to : General Manager OperationsLocation : Mumbai, Delhi NCR & BangaloreGeneral Definition:

  • Under direction, performs a variety of shipping/receiving, stocking activities; stores and distributes supplies and equipment; maintains inventory and stock records; may serve as a lead worker to other classified staff in the area; and perform related work as required.
  • The Storekeeper is responsible for all warehouse operations activities including shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records and overseeing storage of surplus inventory for the Company.
Role:
  • Ensure that the company image and value systems are upheld at all times
  • Ensure compliance to all laid down processes
  • Stores and Purchase procedures compliance & Implementation of Best Practices
  • Cost Control & Profit Enhancement
  • Adds value by prioritizing work that contributes to the successful execution of strategies and plans.
  • Modern warehouse procedures, including methods of proper and orderly storage and issuance of materials; basic stock inventory procedures; requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, bills of lading, freight tags, and the use and meaning of each; computerized warehouse record keeping systems.
  • Provide functional expertise for model operation; assure most efficient use of information technology
  • Develops team mission and goals and maintains teams focus.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure achievement of team goals.
  • Feedback & Performance Analysis
  • Communicating the plan and targets with Team.
  • Setting up innovative systems for inventory control.
