Training Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Training Manager in Delhi. The candidate will be responsible to deliver training that inspires excellence in coffee brewing to : the speciality coffee industry, the passionate home barista, and Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters staff. Maintain and develop the Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters training program as the leading specialty coffee roaster in every market place we work. Responsibilities: Be fully aware and supportive of the training course philosophy, content and delivery method as prescribed by BTCR. Ensure all communication with BTCR staff is timely, polite and professional. Be conversant with the latest trends and innovations in the specialty coffee industry. Maintain accurate records and schedule for classes. Management Reporting and Content Creation Conducting monthly audits / quality checks across the region, utilizing the data to create management reports on cafe operations and coffee quality Communicating feedback on improvements required to City Heads/ Operations promptly. Creation of new/ innovative training reports as and when required Creating new training materials as and when required under instruction from Senior Training Manager B2B Account Support Function Schedule and run classes for Blue Tokai Coffee Roaster s B2B customers Perform routine visits to review B2B and report back to Sales Team Advise the organising caf if there was any nonattendance by staff members at the conclusion of the class. Ensure all communication with BTCR B2B customers is timely, polite and professional. Call late students to check intentions before the class commences. Training Centre Operations Organise coffee to be roasted for Classes ((keep log of stock, organise left over stock to be used in cafes) Organise milk for Classes (keep log of stock, organise left over stock to be used in cafes) Liaise with Housekeeping to keep TC clean and organised, maintain a weekly cleaning schedule. Perform or organise maintenance reviews for TC equipment. Keep a log of all Equipment in the Training Centre, collaborate with Head of Events if equipment needs to be borrowed out. Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Ability to influence Advanced verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organisational and administrative skills Ability to work as a contributing member of the team Ability to manage stress Ability to design your own work program and work unsupervised Outstanding speciality coffee knowledge Outstanding technical and product knowledge Experience and / or participation in barista and / or cupping competitions Knowledge of the coffee scene worldwide 2 years + experience within the specialty coffee industry, ideally within training.
