Duties & Responsibilities 1. To assist doctors in casualty and rendering immediate care to emergency patient. 2. Administer drugs, I/V fluids and injection and watch for any complications. 3. Assist in receiving and transporting patients within the different areas in the hospital (ambulance, diagnostics etc.). 4. Giving necessary instruction to patients and relatives. 5. Supervising waste segregation and biomedical waste management. 6. Consent taking and preparing patients for surgery 7. Documentation of clinical medical records in the patients case sheet, assist consent and entry in the register. 8. Indent medical and non-medical items as and when necessary. 9. Making HIS entry. 10. Checking the drugs received form pharmacy as per the doctors prescription. 11. Taking inventory and maintenance of equipments. 12. Responsible for direct supervision and guidance to the members of the team. 13. Establish and maintain good inter-personal relationship 14. In OPD, see the overall work and gives help to the OPD executive and patients 15. Receiving the patients for dialysis and checking their vitals before, during & after dialysis 16. Responsible for rendering clinical care to the dialysis patients 17. Up dating & maintenance of records (patients file, dialysis record book, inventory book etc) 18. Responsible for entering patients clinical records, vitals, medication details and progress notes in patients case sheet 19. Responsible for supervising bio medical waste segregation, collection, transportation, storage as per bio medical waste handling policy. 20. Is responsible to verify the face sheet, medical reports, and documents on admission. 21. She is expected to do an initial assessment of the patients vital parameters and record in the case sheet.
