Job Description

As an Accounting & Tax Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the companys accounting and tax activities to ensure compliance with local GAAP, Embraer Group standards, and established procedures.**Key Responsibilities:**- Oversee and manage accounting activities for accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.- Align company accounts with group standards, report discrepancies, and ensure timely rectification.- Prepare and submit statistical and financial reports in compliance with local regulatory obligations.- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including general ledger reconciliation and variance analysis reporting.- Prepare annual financial statements, management reports, and oversee external audits.- Ensure tax compliance and prepare/submit tax returns while maintaining accuracy of tax statements.- Apply due diligence in financial processes, verify data accuracy, and identify compliance risks.- Stay updated on local tax legislation and communicate changes to management and stakeholders.- Perform other accounting duties as needed to support the team and organization.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; Masters in Business Administration is a plus.- 8 to 10 years of experience in accounting and clerical support roles.- Practical knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.- Proficiency in SAP ERP system.- Experience in variance analysis, audit examinations, internal controls documentation, and process improvements.- Strong knowledge of finance fundamentals and proficiency in Microsoft Office.- Ability to work effectively in a team within an international environment.- Fluent in English; knowledge of Portuguese or any other European language is advantageous.The company values planning and analysis capabilities, business vision, adaptability, motivation, and interpersonal relationships.
