In this role, youll be responsible for building and maintaining observability solutions that provide end-to-end visibility across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments. Your work will help improve incident response, optimize network performance, and ensure the reliability of critical business systems.What you will do:

• Design, implement, and manage observability solutions for complex network environments using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, Extrahop, and Selector.AI
• Develop dashboards, alerts, and data pipelines that provide actionable visibility into network performance, latency, packet loss, and throughput
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to identify key telemetry sources (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, sFlow, syslog, packet captures)
• Define SLOs, SLIs, and KPIs to monitor network health and performance
• Implement automated detection and diagnostics for anomalies and incidents using AIOps or rule-based systems
• Drive root cause analysis for network-related issues and contribute to blameless postmortems
• Integrate observability tools with incident management and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, MoogSoft, or Selector.AI)
• Champion a culture of observability, automation, and performance engineering within the organization

What you will need to have:

• 5 years of experience in network engineering
• 5 years of experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, etc.) and monitoring standards (SNMP, NetFlow, ICMP)
• 3 years of experience with observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Broadcom NetOps (Spectrum/CAPM), Extrahop, Wireshark)
• 3 years of experience in scripting or programming (Python, Bash, Go, etc.)
• 1 years of experience in cloud networking (AWS/GCP/Azure) and hybrid environments

What would be great to have:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Exposure to SD-WAN, network virtualization, or container networking (Kubernetes, CNI plugins)
• Understanding of security and compliance monitoring (e.g., PCI, HIPAA)
• Certifications like CCNA/CCNP, PCNSE, or AWS Certified Advanced Networking
