Design and implement robust, scalable data architectures, including databases, operational data stores, and data warehouses to meet current and future business needs.
Develop and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical), data integration frameworks, and database designs to support applications, analytics, and reporting requirements.
Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and governance across the organization.
Participate in SDLC with product development teams to help design/approve data models and review/adjust/approve DDL and DML being executed in production, including query tuning and schema refinement.
Refactor existing database structures in Oracle, Couchbase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake to support and segregate OLTP efficiently, reporting, batch processing, search, and data warehouse needs.
Participate in Technology Architecture Group (TAG) activities, including presenting and defending data architecture changes.

What you will need to have:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing SQL and NoSQL databases, including full-text search capabilities.
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Oracle databases, including advanced Oracle database concepts.
Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development.
Proven experience with data warehousing platforms and ETL/ELT processes.

What would be great to have:

Masters degree in a related field.
Experience with Couchbase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
Background in the payment or financial services industry.
