Electrician / Technician / Helper

Job Description

You are being hired to support a large-scale Distribution Panel (DP) and Smart Meter Installation Project as an Electrician, Technician, or Helper. Your main responsibilities will include installing, testing, and maintaining smart meters, distribution panels, and related equipment in the field to ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance with standards.**Key Responsibilities:****Electrician/Technician:**- Install and wire smart meters and distribution panels as per specifications- Perform electrical connections/disconnections safely and accurately- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of installed equipment- Coordinate with site supervisors and utility staff for live installations- Maintain proper documentation of installation data and reports- Adhere strictly to electrical safety norms and guidelines**Helper:**- Assist electricians/technicians with material handling and basic tasks- Prepare the site for installations (cleaning, unpacking, organizing tools)- Support with ladder holding, tool passing, and wiring under supervision- Ensure work area cleanliness and help maintain safety protocols**Qualifications Required:****Electrician/Technician:**- ITI/Diploma in Electrical or relevant field (preferred for technician)- Familiarity with smart meter installation and DP wiring- Ability to read electrical diagrams and handle field tools- Knowledge of electrical safety standards- Willingness to travel for field work and work in various weather conditions**Helper:**- 10th pass or higher- Physically fit and able to assist in field installation work- Willing to learn on-the-job and follow instructions carefullyThe company offers benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, flexible schedule, health insurance, internet reimbursement, leave encashment, life insurance, paid sick time, and Provident Fund. The work location is in person, with frequent travel to installation sites required.
