Job Description

    As a Lead Specialist - Investments (Fund Reporting - Fund Expenses) at Mercer, a Marsh business, your role will be crucial in overseeing approved Fund Expenses, reviewing Total Expense Ratio (TER) calculations, and monitoring quarterly movements. You will also be responsible for supporting the review and processing of invoices associated with Fund Expenses and direct Mercer expenses. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including investment teams, Client Teams, Legal, Compliance, and other operational teams.**Key Responsibilities:**- Lead, own, drive, and deliver BAU fund expense/invoicing tasks with 100% accuracy- Maintain all Fund Expense data and associated matrices accurately- Act as a senior peer reviewer and approver of payments processing- Reconcile service provider calculations to identify issues and errors- Manage relationships with key service providers and ensure SLAs are met- Review and approve Fund Total Expense Ratio (TER) reporting- Create Fund Budgets for new funds and perform various calculations- Challenge existing processes to ensure value add and remove inefficiencies- Support team manager with projects, initiatives, and training- Collaborate with the wider business to develop expertise in Fund Expense & Invoicing- Lead process improvement initiatives and training of junior team members**Qualifications Required:**- Minimum 5 years of Funds or Asset Management experience- Understanding of core Fund Operations including Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency- Candidates having CFA/FRM qualification will have an added advantage- Strong academic background in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related field- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines- Strong data solution focus and willingness to adapt to new technologiesAt Mercer, a Marsh business, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse, inclusive, and flexible work environment.
