Job Description

As a Storage Domain and Hardware professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in VDI infrastructure, you will be responsible for various tasks related to Server and Storage administration. Your qualifications must include a B.E / BTECH or MCA degree.Key Responsibilities:- Manage server H/W monitor and troubleshoot management server H/W failures- Collect and analyze H/W logs of management server for proactive maintenance- Raise tickets with H/W vendors for any failures and coordinate till case closure- Perform security patch and firmware updates on management hardware regularly- Update VxRail firmware and monitor Blade server H/W- Troubleshoot Blade server H/W failures and analyze H/W logs for necessary actions- Coordinate with H/W vendors for Blade server failures and perform security patch updates- Monitor Chassis server H/W, troubleshoot failures, and analyze H/W logs- Update Chassis hardware with security patches and firmware updates- Support in Data Center migration, Pmax microcode update, and other DC activities- Monitor Data Domain management center environment and perform IDRAC FW updates- Perform hardware backup software performance monitoring and Vcentre dashboard monitoring- Create SOP/Plan of action and execute on-demand activities as per scheduleIn addition to the above responsibilities, your role will involve Dell Storage experience, including:- Monitoring and troubleshooting server hardware (Blade, Chassis, VxRail)- Updating firmware and security patches for VxRail, IDRAC, Data Domain- Administering PowerMax storage and managing LUN, SRP, masking view, and quotas- Utilizing backup tools such as Networker and tape management- Creating NAS file systems and updating VAPT, ACL, and firewall rules- Analyzing storage logs and coordinating incidents- Expanding ENAS volumesPlease note: The budget for this position is set at 8 - 8.5 LPA.
