Led by the CEO it comprises Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Head of People Experience, Director Corporate Development and Regional Directors for Greater China, South East Asia, South Asia, Hotcourses, Australasia and the Middle East.Position PurposeIDP has created a separate team (Business Intelligence Hub) under Global Shared Services function to host Reporting Shared Services which is responsible for creating/ developing, revising, reviewing & publishing host of reports on Oracle BI platform. Source of data can be operating application platforms used by Student counselling team (CRM, marketing and commerce platforms SAP cloud based), Financial ERP (Oracle 12R platform) & various other applications/ sources.Team will be co-located along with Global Finance Shared Services function which is headed by Director FP&A & CFO Shared Service.Developer Business Intelligence Hub will be Oracle Business Intelligence expert and will be responsible for the development of customized data analytics and reporting solutions, including interactive dashboards and infographics on IDP Reporting platform Oracle BI. The incumbent will develop custom reports and data visualization products using large datasets, of structured and unstructured data, to transform data into actionable insightsIt is expected that a structured, methodical and standardized reporting model is in place including but not limited to logical data models, data dictionaries, data modelling capabilities so that IDP has a consistent and reliable reporting framework. This role will be accountable for leading the best practices required for an enterprise grade reporting suite of business intelligence.Key Requirements from this position - Adhering to reporting standards, data sets and data definitions and the audienceProven analytical and problem solving skillsEnsuring data accuracy and integrity - provide support in data reconciliation efforts and post-implementation support including troubleshooting of system and data related issuesAble to communicate effectively with finance professionals (of all levels) and ITStrong technical acumen with Agile way of workingTeam player with the ability to work independently and be accountable for results Self-motivation and a proven track record of effective time managementJOB Description Business Intelligence (OBIEE Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition):o Hands on experience in Oracle Business Intelligence 11g/12c, BI Publisher, BI Cloud, Data Visualizationso Hands on experience in OBIEE11G/12c Repository (RPD) Modellingo Experience on RPD design & BI development using Essbase, SQL Server and Oracle database sourceso Oracle BI Answers - Ad-hoc query and reportingo Oracle BI Interactive Dashboards Dashboard/reports with object as well data level securityo Expertise in debugging, optimizing the performance tuning of Oracle BI Dashboards/Reportso Experience in OBI Apps 7.9.6.x/12c, SAP will be an advantage Data Warehousing (DAC) & ETL (Informatica/ODI): Weightage-30 PERCENT o Hands on experience in ETL tools (Informatica/ODI) for Data Warehouse development and maintenance along with Data Modelling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) concepts.Hands on experience in Oracle PL/SQL and good understanding of Oracle Database 11g/12c, MS SQL Database Server and SAP HANA.Qualificationo Master/Bachelor degree or equivalent professional qualifications.Experienceo Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in a mid-sized MNC or Consulting/Service Organisation on Oracle BI developer role.Technology acumen:o Working exposure in OBIEE 11g/12c including RPD Modelling, Dashboard/Reports development, Answers, Object & Data level securityo Experience on RPD design & OBIEE Analytics development using disparate data sources e.g. Essbase, SQL Server and Oracleo Data structures technical knowledge of the ERP application e.g. Oracle e-Biz 12c and SAP.o Data Warehousing Data Modelling Concepts and development exposure in ETL for Informatica/ODI & DACOther Skills:o Working experience and comprehensive understanding of ERP systems.o Performs Unit Testing, SIT - System Integration Testing and organise UAT - User Acceptance Testing of OBIEE, Informatica, DAC and Essbase development, enhancements.Governance understanding of release management (Service Now) & code deployment management ensuring compliance to companys Agile change management process
