Assistant Manager - Finance

Job Description

In this role, you will assist the Site Finance Controller in preparing reports related to the construction phase. Your key responsibilities will include:- Invoice verification and NFA Validation- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes for construction activities- Monitoring and analyzing financial performance, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions- Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations specific to construction projects- Assisting in the preparation of cost reports and financial analysis for management- Coordinating with project managers and other departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy- Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information- Assisting in the implementation of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency- Performing ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required- Tracking and reporting on capital expenditures and project costsQualifications required for this role include:- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the construction or energy sector.
