Job Description

As an experienced Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing electrical engineering activities for projects. Your responsibilities will include:- Project Management & Execution: Lead electrical engineering activities to ensure projects adhere to schedules, budgets, and technical specifications. Collaborate with project management teams to mitigate risks and optimize resource allocation. - Electrical Design and Engineering: Oversee the preparation and review of electrical system designs, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation interfaces. Ensure designs meet national and international standards.- Quality and Compliance: Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Conduct inspections and audits to uphold safety standards.- Vendor and Contractor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors, review technical bids, and supervise contract execution to maintain quality and cost efficiency.- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor junior engineers and technicians, promote knowledge sharing, and adherence to ethical standards.- Commissioning and Troubleshooting: Lead electrical commissioning activities, coordinate with operations teams for a smooth handover.- Documentation & Reporting: Ensure meticulous documentation of electrical engineering work and provide timely updates to senior management.- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Drive initiatives to optimize electrical system design processes and integrate emerging technologies.Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a reputed institution.- 10-16 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering roles within the thermal power or energy projects sector.
