Because its the best-run businesses that make the world run better and improve peoples lives.PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVEThe S/4HANA Cloud Delivery department as part of the P&I organization - is responsible for the complete life cycle management (planning, production, and operations) of SAPs S/4HANA Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.The S/4HANA Cloud Delivery department drives and executes all required activities based on an end-to-end approach and facilitates all functions from development engagement to design, production, and service of our productive customer landscapes.We are looking to fill the position of a SAP Landscape Expert Linux/Unix Administrator within the S/4HANA Cloud Delivery department in Hungary, Budapest.As a member of this team you will be responsible for system and landscape operations and you will be dealing with the newest SAP Cloud Technologies, e.g. HANA and Fiori. The S/4HANA Cloud Delivery team is located in Germany, India and Hungary.EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS Responsibility for Linux system administration, natively as well as in virtualized environments Diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues in Linux OS Server installation and configuration Package-, patch- and update management Development and maintenance of scripts for automation (shell, python) Monitoring of productively used servers and systems Takeover critical system down time situations and support in reducing overall downtime duration Own operational tasks, customer escalations, process improvements Work closely with Internal/External Stakeholders, developers, across locations, to ensure timely deliveryWORK EXPERIENCE 2 year work experience in Linux server administration Experience in troubleshooting of technical issues and analysis of performance issues Experience in Escalations handling and communication with other teamsEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESPrimary skills (Mandatory): Advanced technical background for server operating systems (Linux) Practical experience with OS upgrades and security patching Networking experience with the suite of TCP/IP Scripting experience (shell, python) Server and network security knowledge, OS hardening, antivirus solutions Experience with OS monitoring, backup/restore, configuration automation technologies Willing to work with international teams, fluent English communicationSecondary skills (Optional): Good understanding of cloud technologies and related processes Experience with public cloud service provides (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure) Know-how of server virtualization and networking Monitoring framework/tools Security aspects and certificate handling (ssh,ssl, sso) Datacenter experienceWHAT YOU GET FROM USSuccess is what you make it.
