Job Description

In Deals Valuation, you will have the opportunity to assist organizations in maximizing the value of their assets, capital expenditures, acquisitions, investments, and complex corporate arrangements. Your role will involve providing acquisition and disposal valuation advice, deal pricing, negotiation support, strategic value consulting, financial modeling, and value analysis to support clients in making strategic decisions and meeting regulatory requirements with your professional skills and industry knowledge.As part of the team, you will be expected to:- Provide constructive in-the-moment feedback- Collaborate effectively with team members- Identify and propose improvements when challenges or opportunities arise- Handle, analyze, and manipulate data responsibly- Adhere to risk management and compliance procedures- Stay updated on industry developments- Communicate confidently and clearly- Build and maintain professional networks- Seek learning opportunities within the global network of firms- Uphold the firms code of ethics and business conductYour main responsibilities will include:- Supporting projects involving business valuations for capital raising, purchase price allocations, and goodwill impairment assessments- Developing and reviewing financial models using discounted cash flow and market approach methods- Conducting company, industry, and economic reviews for valuation reports- Identifying comparable companies and calculating transaction-related multiples- Determining the weighted average cost of capital (WACC) using comparable company data- Acquiring training on relevant databases and efficiently utilizing them- Compiling research findings into comprehensive deliverables- Conducting ad-hoc research based on given instructionsTo excel in this role, you should possess:- The ability to analyze and anticipate client needs and respond accordingly- Strong reasoning and analytical skills- Proficiency in databases such as CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, and ThomsonOne- Solid understanding of financial concepts- Contribution to best practices and process optimization- Capacity to handle diverse work requests within tight deadlines- Development of innovative research approaches for improved quality and productivity- Proficiency in MS Office tools- Effective verbal and written communication skills- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and collaboratively- Strong multitasking and prioritization skillsQualifications required for this position include a CA/CFA/MBA/Bachelor or Masters degree in any discipline, along with 1-2 years of experience in Valuations and related research.,
