Job Description

    As a Solution Architect at PepsiCo, you will be a key player in software development activities and long-term initiative planning within the Strategy & Transformation (S&T) organization. Your role will be essential in establishing an end-to-end vision of the overall application design and providing technology leadership to the application architecture. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities and qualifications:**Responsibilities:**- Demonstrate a passion for excellence in engineering services, education, and support.- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to navigate a complex, matrixed environment.- Collaborate effectively with regional and global partners from various functional units.- Influence and lead senior stakeholders across different cultures and organizational boundaries.**Qualifications:**- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- A Masters or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.- Minimum of 11 years of software development and engineering leadership experience.- At least 5 years of experience in architecting fault-tolerant, large-scale distributed systems.- In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.- Proficiency in multiple programming languages beyond C#, Java, C, or C (e.g., Ruby, Python, or Perl).- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, and related PaaS/SaaS solutions.- Proven track record of working on mission-critical, 24/7 systems.- Experience in building and maintaining high-throughput, cloud-native distributed systems.- Expertise in designing and consuming large-scale web services.- Strong understanding of design patterns.- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and frontend frameworks like React-Redux.- Full-stack engineering experience, showcasing comfort in both frontend and backend development.,
