Job Description

    As a member of the Tax Digital Services (TDS) team at RSM, you will play a crucial role in enhancing RSM USIs tax services by leveraging technology and automation. You will work alongside professionals from diverse backgrounds to consult on various tax initiatives, process automation, platform enhancements, and training development. Your contributions will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive and efficient tax solutions to our clients.Some of the opportunities you will have in this role include:- Formulating and executing Form 1065 supporting schedules for partnership clients across different industries using RSM proprietary tools.- Understanding complex partnership agreements to develop allocation strategies and maintain capital balances.- Supporting automation workflows to improve efficiencies and enhance client deliverables.- Collaborating with clients and teams to identify areas for automation and technology introduction.- Working with Tax Subject Matter Experts, technical teams, and project managers on development projects.- Leading and engaging teams to address and resolve issues effectively.Qualifications required for this role:- Bachelors degree- Minimum 1 year of experience in US partnership tax accounting- Intermediate expertise with MS Office- Prior experience in public accounting or professional services- Good knowledge of GoSystem- Strong communication skills- Ability to coordinate effectively with teammates, end-users, and leadership- Ability to work in a hybrid office environment- Strong time management skills and attention to detailPreferred qualifications include:- MBA, CPA, or EA- Understanding of partnership tax allocation methodology in hedge, private equity, and real estate industry- Strong working knowledge of Alteryx, Power BI- Experience with tax compliance systems or financial systems and technologyRSM offers a competitive benefits and compensation package, along with flexibility in your schedule to balance work and personal life.
