The candidate is expected to personally assess the features and design/extend test frameworks of our existing software products, manage test plans, code quality and recommend any necessary redesigns required to keep our products competitive in the marketplace.As Associate Manager in the technical/process QA division, you will lead a team that designs, installs and evaluates quality control methods and systems. The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including strong communication skills, analytical skills and thorough understanding of the complete software development life cycle (SDLC) & Quality AssuranceMajor Responsibilities:Leading, mentoring QA team and taking responsibility of sprint and release commitments, impediment resolution, escalationsInteract with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the product functionality and testing objectivesDesign and develop test strategy & plans to address business and technical use cases.Providing technical leadership to team in terms of analyzing & deciding automation approaches, review the frameworks/test scriptsDetermine the staffing required for the Scrum team to complete assigned tasks. Ensure all assigned personnel receive the training necessary to successfully complete the tasks which are assigned to themAssists QA engineering teams in estimating and planning initiativesMentors and trains QA Engineers to increase overall team technical skillsets and stay current with technology trendsWorks with team and resolves customer issues as per defined service level agreementsExecute, maintain, and reviews the results of existing automated tests, filing issues, and fixing tests as necessary. Create automated tests for new features being developedDevelop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during testing and inspection to access product qualityDuties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgmentPerformance testing of different modules/use cases, analyzing the performance testing results.Scrubs issues in their product area, figuring out steps to reproduce in a test account based on steps to reproduce in a customer accountExperience/Skills: Technical
