Job Description

    Automation EngineerExp : 9 - 15Notice : 0 - 30 DaysLocation : RemoteSkills : UI Automation, ETL Automation, UAT TestingTiming : 12.30 PM - 9.30 PMMust HaveLead experienceKey Responsibilities:
    • ETL Testing:
      • Review, validate, and test ETL processes and data pipelines.
      • Ensure the extraction, transformation, and loading of data meets business requirements.
      • Perform data validation, including data accuracy, data transformation rules, and data integrity.
      • Collaborate with development teams to create test plans, test cases, and perform test execution.
      • Work on database testing for ensuring correct data loading from source to destination.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the ETL testing phase.
    • UI Testing:
      • Perform functional and regression testing for User Interfaces (UI) across multiple platforms.
      • Test UI components and ensure that the application is user-friendly, responsive, and adheres to design specifications.
      • Identify, document, and track UI defects and issues to resolution.
      • Work closely with the development team to reproduce, investigate, and resolve UI-related defects.
    • UAT (User Acceptance Testing):
      • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations for the application.
      • Assist in the creation and execution of UAT test cases based on business needs and technical requirements.
      • Facilitate and support UAT sessions with the business team to validate whether the system meets the desired criteria.
      • Record and communicate UAT issues to the development team and verify fixes before retesting.
      • Ensure smooth communication between development teams and business users to ensure UAT testing aligns with business objectives.
    • Documentation & Reporting:
      • Maintain detailed documentation for test cases, test results, and defect logs.
      • Provide status reports on testing activities to project managers and stakeholders.
      • Create comprehensive test plans that align with the overall project goals and timelines.
    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Proven experience as an ETL Tester, with hands-on experience in testing ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.).
    • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and database management systems (SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
    • Experience in UI Testing tools (Selenium, QTP, etc.) and manual UI testing.
    • Hands-on experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case creation, execution, and defect management.
    • Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
    • Experience with testing complex data integration systems.
    • Strong communication skills to interact with business users and development teams.
    • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
    • Experience in automated testing frameworks (preferred but not mandatory).
    • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
