Job Description

    As a Senior Manager I, Application Engineering Technical Lead at EY, you will play a crucial role in providing the most senior level IT technical lead services across platforms, overseeing secure API integration, aligning architecture with user and enterprise goals, and driving software documentation standards.**Key Responsibilities:**- Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew, providing guidance and training as necessary for their development.- Provide the most senior level IT technical lead and architecture services for critical projects on multiple platforms, completing complex development, design, implementation, and maintenance activities.- Lead and ensure the viability of IT deliverables, conduct testing, provide production support, and identify potential solutions for technical issues.- Communicate with key stakeholders on project issues, maintain knowledge of IT development methodology and technical standards, and identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement.- Develop code and test artifacts, review and approve documentation created by the team, and participate in special projects.- Oversee data flow integration between multiple APIs and systems, drive cross-functional collaboration, and establish software documentation standards.**Qualifications Required:**- Minimum 14 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role focusing on application engineering.- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in leading technical teams, proficiency in programming languages like Java, C#, Python, and strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.- Solid experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.**Skills and Attributes for Success:**- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Constantly updating yourself about new technologies in the market.- A winning personality and the ability to become a trusted advisor to stakeholders.EY offers a competitive remuneration package, comprehensive Total Rewards package, support for flexible working and career development, along with opportunities to develop new skills and progress your career in a way thats right for you.
