Event Security Specialist

Job Description

You will be joining Pinkerton as an Event Security Specialist to ensure the integrity, vigilance, and excellence of security measures for complex medium to large-scale corporate events. Your responsibilities will include:- Representing Pinkertons core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.- Assisting in planning, coordinating, and supervising security operations for various events, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and security guidelines.- Being prepared for approximately 40% domestic travel and potential limited international travel to support regional teams with event security requirements.- Adapting to flexible schedules, including extended days, evenings, and weekends as per event needs.- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with law enforcement, private sector peers, and stakeholders to enhance event security efforts.- Conducting thorough security assessments of event venues and coordinating security measures in response to identified risks.- Handling last-minute changes with a calm and composed approach.- Performing any other duties as assigned.Qualifications required for this role include:- Minimum 4 years of experience in event operations with a strong security focus, including proven experience in corporate event security setup and understanding of security guidelines.- Demonstrated ability to manage travel-related tasks effectively, especially under time constraints and dynamic circumstances.- Exceptional interpersonal skills to address the needs of diverse stakeholders.Working Conditions:- Requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions.- Involves regular computer usage.- May include occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, operating office equipment, frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking.- Travel as required.
