This role aims to synchronize the formation stage with upstream and downstream processes, guaranteeing product quality and adherence to both company and industry standards.Responsibilities :- Supervise the cell formation and aging processes, ensuring theyre in line with establishedprotocols and quality benchmarks. Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate advancements and refinements into the formationprocess, ensuring optimal cell performance. Monitor and optimize the formation and grading equipment, ensuring maximum uptime,efficiency, and precision. Drive continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing process efficiency, yield, andoverall product quality. Ensure that safety protocols are strictly adhered to, minimizing risks in the high-voltageformation process. Coordinate with preceding (assembly) and succeeding (testing and packaging) departmentsto ensure seamless production flow. Mentor, guide, and lead the formation team, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, andinnovation. Periodically review and analyze formation data, detecting trends, anomalies, or areas forimprovement. Develop and manage budgets related to the formation phase, ensuring cost-effectiveness and justifying investments when necessary. Engage with equipment suppliers and vendors, staying updated with technologicaladvancements and ensuring timely maintenance and upgrades.Qualification, Experience and Certification Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field. An advanced degree in battery technology or related areas would be a strong advantage. Certifications in production management, process optimization, or Li-ion technology would add value.Experience Minimum of 6-10 years in Li-ion cell manufacturing or related fields, with specific expertise in the cell formation process. Demonstrated capability in leading technical teams and optimizing high-tech production processes. Comprehensive knowledge of the intricacies and nuances of the Li-ion cell formation process. Strong leadership abilities with a knack for guiding and motivating teams. Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making. Ability to work collaboratively across departments, ensuring a synchronized production process. In-depth understanding of safety protocols specific to high-voltage cell formation. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges. Effective communication skills, allowing clear conveyance of technical information to both experts and non-experts.,
