As a Medical Records officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of patient records. Your exceptional organizational skills, in-depth knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, and strong attention to detail will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our healthcare facility.Medical Records Officer Responsibilities
    • Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive medical records for each patient, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is recorded.
    • Ensure strict adherence to legal and ethical guidelines regarding patient information privacy and confidentiality.
    • Oversee the coding, indexing, and filing of medical records to aid in efficient retrieval and use.
    • Train and supervise employees involved in medical record management, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
    • Develop and implement procedures for the secure storage and retrieval of medical records, including but not limited to electronic health record systems.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.
    • Perform regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of medical records, correcting any errors or discrepancies promptly.
