Job Location: Coimbatore/HyderabadExperience: 6 yearsPosition Summary:We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Tester with over 6 years of experience to join our QAteam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application testing, particularly withautomation frameworks like Appium. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintainingautomated test scripts for mobile applications across various platforms (iOS and Android).What you'll do Automation Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Appium formobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. Test Strategy && Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive test strategy, includingthe creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of mobileapplications. Framework Development: Develop and enhance automation frameworks, ensuring they arescalable, maintainable, and reusable across projects. Integration with CI/CD: Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/ContinuousDeployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring timely and reliable test execution. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects found during testing,collaborating closely with development teams to resolve issues. Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing of mobile applications toensure optimal performance under various conditions. Cross-Device Testing: Execute and manage automated tests across different devices,operating systems, and browsers to ensure compatibility. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders tounderstand requirements, provide feedback, and deliver high-quality products. Documentation: Maintain detailed test documentation, including test scripts, test results,and defect logs, ensuring traceability and compliance with industry standards. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers and team members on bestpractices in mobile automation testing.What we are looking for Experience: 6 years in software testing with a focus on mobile automation. Appium Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Appium for both Android and iOSapplications. Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, orJavaScript for writing test scripts. Frameworks && Tools: Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or anysimilar tools. Familiarity with Selenium is a plus. CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI. Mobile Testing Tools: Knowledge of other mobile testing tools and platforms (e.g., TestFairy,Firebase Test Lab). Manual Testing: Strong understanding of manual testing processes and the ability to blendmanual and automated testing approaches effectively. API Testing: Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured. Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability towork collaboratively in a team environment. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Nice to Have: Knowledge of Mobile Application Security Testing: Familiarity with mobile applicationsecurity testing practices and tools to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure thesecurity of mobile apps. Experience with Cloud-Based Mobile Testing Environments: Hands-on experience withcloud-based mobile testing environments like AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, or SauceLabs to streamline cross-device and cross-platform testing.
