Job Description

    As a Principal Software Quality Engineer at SprintRay, you will be an integral part of our team dedicated to creating top-quality tools and delivering innovative products with exceptional quality standards. Your role will involve collaborating with other quality engineers to enhance the entire portfolio of SprintRay products.With over 8 years of experience in quality engineering, including at least 3 years in a leadership position, you will bring expertise in hardware, firmware, and software testing methodologies, with a focus on electromechanical products. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the highest quality in software products by implementing efficient testing practices, both manual and automated, and following system-level, integration, and end-to-end testing approaches.Your proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python and C/C, coupled with experience in Agile development processes and continuous integration practices, will be essential for success in this role. Additionally, your leadership, communication, and collaboration skills will be crucial in managing cross-functional teams effectively.A Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields is required, with a masters degree considered a plus. Experience with embedded systems, sensor-based testing, and real-time data analysis is highly desirable, along with the ability to work effectively with global teams and manage resources across different time zones.Your responsibilities will include leading the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies for complex embedded systems, mentoring and managing a team of quality engineers, collaborating closely with hardware, software, and firmware development teams, overseeing the design and implementation of testing frameworks, and enforcing rigorous quality assurance processes tailored to embedded systems.At SprintRay, you will be part of a collaborative and innovative environment where you can contribute to shaping the future of 3D printing.
