Job Description

    We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Python-based test automation, network protocols (TCP/IP), system testing, and network testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test cases for networking and system-level applications.Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python for system and network testing.
    • Perform functional, system, and network testing for software and hardware products.
    • Validate network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and troubleshoot network-related issues.
    • Work with tools like Wireshark, TCPDump, Scapy, and networking simulators to analyze and debug network traffic.
    • Automate test cases for network appliances, embedded systems, or cloud-based networking applications.
    • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
    • Execute performance, scalability, and security tests for network-based applications.
    • Document test plans, test cases, and generate reports for test execution.
    Required Skills & Experience:
    • Strong experience in Python for test automation.
    • In-depth understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP stack, and protocols.
    • Hands-on experience with network testing tools (Wireshark, iPerf, tcpdump, Scapy, etc.).
    • Experience in system-level testing, API testing, and performance testing.
    • Knowledge of Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Shell, etc.).
    • Familiarity with automation frameworks (Pytest, Robot Framework, or custom-built frameworks).
    • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for debugging system and network issues.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in SDN (Software-Defined Networking), NFV (Network Function Virtualization).
    • Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM) or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent in networking are a plus.
