Job Description

    As a member of the Value & Access Insights team at Amgen, your role will involve understanding the pharmaceutical ecosystem and various data sets such as medical and pharmacy claims, prescription, and outlet data. Your key responsibilities will include:- Providing oversight and delivery of managed markets analysis including product formulary position, utilization management controls, customer segmentation, and control/sophistication assessment.- Preparing and presenting periodic reports tracking product and portfolio performance against business objectives.- Performing advanced analytics such as longitudinal patient level analysis, time series modeling, and customer segmentation using tools like SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel.- Creating data analytics models to generate strategic actionable business insights.Qualifications required for this role are as follows:- Masters degree with 1 to 3 years of computer science, statistics, or STEM majors with a minimum of 1 year of Information Systems experience OR- Bachelors degree with 3 to 5 years of computer science, statistics, or STEM majors with a minimum of 2 years of Information Systems experience OR- Diploma with 7 to 9 years of computer science, statistics, or STEM majors with a minimum of 2 years of Information Systems experience.Preferred qualifications include basic knowledge of marketing analytics in the pharmaceutical industry, expertise in visualization tools like Tableau or Power-BI, experience in database languages (e.g., SQL), and the ability to think strategically to support key business decisions.
