Job Description

    You will be joining Amgen as a Senior Associate IS Business Systems Analyst, where you will be leveraging your data science and analytics expertise to contribute to the Digital Workplace Experience (DWX) Automation & Analytics product team. Your role will involve developing, maintaining, and optimizing machine learning models, forecasting tools, and operational dashboards to support strategic decisions for global digital workplace services.**Roles and Responsibilities:**- Design, develop, and maintain predictive models, decision support tools, and dashboards using platforms like Python, R, SQL, Power BI, etc.- Collaborate with delivery teams to integrate data science outputs into business operations for improving efficiency and end-user experience.- Build and automate data pipelines for data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and model training with structured and unstructured datasets.- Monitor, maintain, and tune models to ensure accuracy and sustained business impact.- Support the operationalization of ML models by working with data engineers and platform teams on integration and automation.- Conduct data exploration, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis to identify optimization opportunities across various digital workplace services.- Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance automation performance, service delivery, and capacity forecasting.- Develop reusable components, templates, and frameworks to scale analytics and automation across DWX.- Collaborate with other team members to implement best practices in model development and lifecycle management.**Qualifications Required:**- Masters degree / Bachelors degree with 5 to 9 years of experience in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.**Must-Have Skills:**- Proficiency in Python or R with experience in libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, XGBoost, and knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch.- Advanced SQL skills with experience in relational databases and data modeling.- Hands-on experience with Databricks notebooks, Delta Lake, MLflow, etc.- Expertise in Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.**Nice-to-Have Skills:**- Experience with MLOps & Automation tools like Airflow, SageMaker, or Azure ML.- Understanding of Generative AI models and hands-on experience with APIs from OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.- Exposure to ITIL practices, ITSM platforms, and Agile/SAFe environments.**Soft Skills:**- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and data integrity.- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.- Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.- Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.- Clear and concise documentation practices.,
