Job Description

    Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer in Chennai, Bangalore, HyderabadThe ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of expertise in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and possess a proven track record of testing e-commerce websites and mobile applications. A background in the telecom domain is essential, and experience with migration projects is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:
    • Act as an independent contributor leading the QA process, managing both automation and manual testing tasks to ensure high-quality deliverables.
    • Analyse requirements and write detailed user stories.
    • Lead daily stand-ups, define process flows, and manage reporting using JIRA and MS Excel to track progress, identify gaps, and provide actionable insights.
    • Coordinate and manage stakeholders across modules to ensure seamless delivery, track progress, and achieve on-time project completion with strict adherence to quality standards.
    • Automate test cases for websites and mobile apps using Selenium and Appium.
    • Perform API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured, validating request/response formats and ensuring data integrity.
    • Conduct database testing, including creating and executing SQL queries to verify data consistency and accuracy.
    Qualifications and Skills:
    • 5 years of experience leading the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and delivery practices.
    • Expertise in testing e-commerce applications with a mobile-first approach, including mobile apps, with a strong focus on UI/UX quality and detail.
    • Proficiency in automation testing tools: Selenium (Java) and Appium.
    • Strong skills in analysing requirements and drafting user stories.
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
    • Solid understanding of producing reports using JIRA & MS Excel.
